Section A - 1 1/2 years.

Section B - 1 1/2 years.

Diploma

Age:    16 yrs.

The candidate should have passed Std X conducted by a Recognised Board of Education with General Science and Mathematics or its equivalent as prescribed by the council from time to time.

Six Year Degree

Same as above Six year degree course is an integrated course in which first the students will appear for Diploma paper and then for Degree papers as described above.

Examination is conducted by Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). Dip.I.E.T.E. is recognised by the Govt. of India as diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication  Engineering. The final diploma is awarded by IETE.

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) has started a diploma level examination in order to make available trained technical personal especially at the shop-floor level in industry. This is recognised by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.

After (completing) passing this course, a student can join the AMIETE course, equivalent to B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering conducted by the IETE. Diploma / Dip IETE passed students will get exemption from few papers of AMIETE there by reducing the no of papers to be cleared and hence the total duration. Student joining the course after Std X can easily clear their Diploma and Degree (AMIETE) Papers provided they work hard, within 6 yrs duration.

Students who have passed in subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10 + 2 or equivalent examination shall only be eligible for admission. Before the completion of the training, a student will be given practical training in our electronic lab.

Students those who have cleared Diploma in Electronics are also eligible for admission. They will be exempted from few papers of Section A examination i.e. the total duration for them will be 3 yrs.

Section A - 2 years.

Section B - 2 years.

Examination is conducted by Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). A.M.I.E.T.E. and is recognised by the Govt. of India as equivalent to degree in Electronics and Telecommunication   Engineering. The final degree is awarded by IETE.

The Government of India recognises a pass in the A.M.I.E.T.E. examination at Section A and Section B levels for the purpose of recruitment to executive posts and commissioned ranks in the services in the appropriate fields under the Central Government. Candidates with A.M.I.E.T.E. qualification are eligible to apply for any job in Govt., Public and Private sector where B.E. is prescribed as the minimum eligibility qualification for the post. They are also eligible to pursue Post Graduate courses.
